The birth of ‘A’ Auto Body Inc. was the final piece of Tim and Veronica Cook’s American Dream. Growing up in a small coal mining town in Southwest Virgina Tim Cook always aspired for more. Throughout the years he gained priceless experience in the field of auto body collision and mechanical repair. As their children grew Tim and Veronica yearned to provide their family with the lasting legacy of a family business. With blood, sweat, and tears their aspiration was a reality in June of the year 2000. Much has changed since the doors were opened all those years back. The respectable reputation of ‘A’ Auto Body Inc. spread like wildfire, from day one, by word of mouth.

The customers came to know not only Tim and Veronica but each member of the family as well. On the arrival of their first child’s 15th birthday, he was busy learning the value of hard work at the family business. His oldest son, Paul, started as a helper in the collision shop working side by side with the body men and paint department. Tim instilled in his son the importance of starting in such an entry position so that in later years Paul would appreciate the time and effort the men in the collision repair shop must exert to complete their jobs correctly.

Over the years Paul has since risen through the ranks and is now an estimator and  manager. The skills shown to Paul have given him the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. His collision repair shop knowledge set the groundwork for him to be able to explain to the customers, in understandable detail, all the steps involved in a collision repair process allowing their minds to be at ease while their vehicle is repaired. As small business owners the Cook family is now proud to be able to offer employment to eleven employees to date.

 ’A’ Auto Body is in good standing with the major insurance companies and can be found on the direct repair list of many. The office staff works closely with their customers and insurance agents to insure the highest quality of  care for customer’s vehicles is provided. About the NAPA AutoCare Collision Center Program

   Because ‘A’ Auto Body Shop is a certified Napa AutoCare Collision Center, we are able to provide the benefits of an established national entity while maintaining the personal touch of a family-owned business. We understand that your vehicle is a major investment, and that is why we care for each customer’s vehicle as if it were our own.

As a NAPA AutoCare Collision Center, we follow a strict code of ethics so customers will know up front what to expect. As part of this code, we pledge to:

• Have at least one current I-CAR and/or ASE-Certified trained technician on staff
• Uphold the integrity of all members of the NAPA AutoCare Collision Center Program
• Maintain the highest standards of the collision repair service profession
• Be dedicated to customer satisfaction
• Obtain prior authorization and provide a price estimate for work to be performed
• Exercise reasonable care for the customer’s property while it is in the shop’s possession
• Provide a system for fair settlement of customer complaints, should they occur
